The ICL recognises Full Members of the Master Locksmiths Association (MLA) and British Locksmiths Institute (BLI) as competent locksmiths and will accept them as ICL Certified Locksmiths without further examination provided that the ICL guidelines and ethos are fully agreed and adhered to.

Similarly, the ICL will accept an MLA or BLI Advanced Student as an ICL Member.

The ICL recognises no other association.
