The ICL recognises Full Members of the Master Locksmiths Association (MLA) and British Locksmiths Institute (BLI) as competent locksmiths and will accept them as Full Members of ICL without further examination so long as the ICL terms are fully agreed and adhered to.

Similarly, the ICL will accept an MLA or BLI Advanced Student as an ICL Advanced Student member.

The ICL recognises no other association.
