An exciting new position has arisen for a brand new trade publication serving the Locksmith industry.

The Locksmith Journal is therefore looking for a dynamic freelance Editor to undertake various editorial assignments and duties covering the whole of the UK-based locksmith industry. You will be required to visit various locksmith businesses at their premises and give a real life account of how the business is run, everyday problems the locksmith encounters, any interesting points the locksmith has to say and on what basis the locksmith is successful. In addition to this you will be required to provide technical based articles that will be of an interesting and helpful topic to the readers.

Having your finger on the pulse will be essential and attending new product launches/seminars, researching and sourcing new products and ideas will be of paramount importance in your duties.

Based from home, you will be paid upon each article you provide. We are looking for approximately ten to fifteen articles per issue (eleven issues per year).

The successful candidate will ideally have an in-depth knowledge of the locksmith and security industry and have amassed considerable experience within this sector.

Ideally, you will be able to supply completed Quark or In-design documents directly to the design team according to their templates.

An attractive remuneration package awaits the right candidate and full expenses will be covered.
